As an Advanced Field Service Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing technical expertise and support to our customers.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our advanced systems. Your knowledge and skills will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our products in the field.

This role will work remote on designated customer sites across various locations. In this role, you will have a direct impact on our customers' satisfaction and the success of our business.

Your ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues will contribute to the overall reliability and performance of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of advanced systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance of our products.
  • Document and report all service activities, including findings, recommendations, and solutions.
  • Identify and promote SPOT Reactive Quote (RQ) growth opportunities
  • Serve as a Technical Point of Escalation for HBS Field Technicians

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Post-Secondary education in an engineering or technical field.
  • 3+ Years BAS / Security / HVAC controls experience.
  • Excellent Remote troubleshooting skills

  • Understanding of Honeywell building technologies and application (BMS, Security, CCTV, Fire etc)
  • Ability to identify technical solutions to customers' business needs and Commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Excellent effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, along with proven ability to interact professionally with clients.
  • Self-motivated, ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure, determine own work priorities, work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of ICT / Cybersecurity fundamentals
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer skills, Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Fundamental knowledge of 3rd party IoT technologies and software applications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative and creative solutions in a complex multiple systems environments.
  • Basic network fault finding capability.
  • Knowledge of system monitoring toolsets
  • A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
  • Willing to develop extensive product knowledge in formal training, and in "on the job" environments, working with the latest Honeywell technology.
  • Able to work cooperatively and provide technical direction in a team environment.
  • The ability to work under pressure and capacity to deliver against multiple objectives.
