Sr QA / BA - Electronic Control of Work Intro
On behalf of our client Procom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analyst / Business Analyst to join their Corporate & Operations Services team in Calgary.
This role is pivotal in implementing a new Electronic Control of Work software system, ensuring robust QA practices and engaging in business analysis to enhance operational efficiencies.
This is a 12 month contract.

The successful candidate will provide essential QA guidance and expertise, contribute to the creation of QA documentation, and set up QA systems.
Responsibilities include engaging with project and business teams for QA planning and execution, performing functional testing and deployment of software, and undertaking Business Analyst activities as needed.
This role involves working both independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Sr QA / BA - Electronic Control of Work Mandatory Skills
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA or Business Analyst roles.
- Expertise in QA documentation and system setups.
- Proficient in use case and test scenario development.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Experience in Field Operations and Maintenance within the Energy sector.
Sr QA / BA - Electronic Control of Work Desired Skills
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with Oil & Gas software, particularly in Permitting and Energy Isolation.
- Skills in Business Process Models and Functional Requirements Gathering / Documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
