Role Overview
CTG Group is seeking a Director of E-Commerce to lead brand, campaign, and communications strategy across three companies : CTG, Giftcraft, and Malinda.
The Director of E-commerce is responsible for driving the overall strategy, performance, and growth of the company’s online business. This role owns the end-to-end digital commerce experience—from customer acquisition and conversion to retention and lifetime value—while managing the e-commerce P&L. This role serves as a key strategic partner to senior leadership, translating business objectives into scalable e-commerce initiatives and ensuring alignment across channels, platforms, and teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement e-commerce strategy for third party B2B wholesale platforms and B2C marketplaces such as Amazon, Wayfair, and Walmart
- Identify market trends, new product launches / innovations, and stay up to date on trends in the e-commerce and retail industry
- Lead online merchandising and product selection to develop online category strategies, assortment management, and visual merchandising while ensuring the proper inventory, promotional, and marketing support
- Manage relationships with buyers and account managers on the merchant side
- Contract negotiations and review terms
- Responsible for leading daily e-commerce operation, including sales, promotions, data analysis, digital merchandising
- Measure and report performance of all eCommerce sales, digital marketing campaigns and operational cost (ROI and KPIs) for EVP
- Lead the design and monitoring of advertising campaigns and refine as necessary based on data feedback
- Product forecast report and work closely with the warehouse, merchandising, and purchasing team in order to ensure the stock level is met based on its demand and growing trends
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate B2B and B2C customer experience across multiple channels
- Other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field8+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, or marketplace managementProven experience managing B2B wholesale platforms and B2C marketplaces (Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, or similar)Strong understanding of online merchandising, category management, pricing and promotional strategyHands‑on experience with marketplace advertising platforms and performance optimizationDemonstrated ability to analyze data, track KPIs / ROI, and translate insights into actionExperience with demand forecasting, inventory planning and cross‑functional collaborationStrong negotiation and relationship management skills with merchant partnersExcellent communication, leadership and organizational skillsBenefits
