We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SFMC Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and executing multi-channel customer journeys through email, push notifications, and SMS messages.
They will create scalable processes to ensure the team's operational efficiency and effectiveness, while managing the deployment and optimization of campaigns.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing :
Multi-Channel Customer Campaigns :
- Build and execute multi-channel customer journeys using email, push, and SMS.
- Develop, test, and deploy campaigns, customer journeys, and triggers.
- Implement testing and QA strategies to optimize campaigns and ensure accurate, error-free content execution.
- Build and maintain email lists, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Manage the creation of campaign briefs to hand off to cross-functional teams.
- Oversee the email deployment calendar and keep email segments updated according to strategies.
Relationship / Stakeholder Management :
- Support the Manager in developing, communicating, and presenting campaigns and initiatives as the subject matter expert on DTC (Direct to Customer) communications.
- Maintain a high level of customer service with all stakeholders and business teams.
- Identify and resolve deliverability issues, bounce backs, spam complaints, and opt-outs.
- Monitor email campaign performance and implement optimization strategies.
- Communicate and document A / B test plans, project status, and strategic recommendations.
Key Support Accountabilities :
- Support multifunctional teams on special projects such as capability enhancements, system design, testing, and approvals.
- Identify and propose process or capability improvement opportunities.
- Present campaign results to the business.
What you have to offer :
- 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, with direct-to-customer experience
- Strong skills in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder
- Experience in project management and forecasting
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, data architecture, and integration principles.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (., Email Specialist, Journey Builder Consultant) are a plus.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods industries preferred.
- Bilingual in English and candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the expansion, development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada
