The Electromechanical segmentprovides automation and precision motion control solutions as wellas electrical interconnects specialty metals and thermal managementsystems.

Job Description :

Performspackaging duties for the shipment of Company products Companyownedmaterial and Company Supplier material.

Processes packed orders to accommodate themethod of shipment. Loads product and material onto trucks to shiporders to destination.

Uses the Company MRP system to document the packingprocessing and shipment of products and materials.

Primary / Essential Responsibilities :

Determines proper packing material based ontype of product or material. Builds cartons tubes skids redicratesand wood crates of different sizes to properly pack the product ormaterial.

Processespacked orders using the MRP system to accommodate the requiredmethod of shipment by scheduling in the UPS system or staging forother small box or LTL carrier pick up.

Loads packed and processed material ontocarrier trucks using pallet jacks sitdown forklift hoist etc.

Operates electricaland pneumatic tools standard construction and mechanical toolsweight scales and computer.

Possesses beginning to basic knowledge of the subjectmatter.

Required Qualifications :

Describe the minimum required educationexperience (type and years) and skill / competencies

High school diploma or generaleducation degree (GED) is preferred.

No prior experience or training is requiredalthough is preferred.

Ability to read and comprehend in ENGLISH simpleinstructions short

correspondence and memos and to communicate in Englishin oneonone and small group situations to other associates of theorganization.

Ability to use basic mathematical skills such asaddition subtraction multiplication and division.

Preferred Qualifications :

Elementary understanding in the use of a computerpreferably Windowsbased.

Prior experience with power tools and standardconstruction tools.

Prior experience with Powered Industrial Trucks i.e.forklifts order pickers powered pallet jacks etc.
