Senior Information Technology Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager for a 12-month contract position, with possible extensions in Edmonton, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

This position in onsite in Edmonton. 7.25 hours per day for a total of 36.25 hours per week.

Role Description

The successful candidate will have 5–10 years of senior project management experience, with the ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of AML obligations, contractual and regulatory governance, and consumer protection. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong leadership in building and guiding cross‑functional teams, managing complex stakeholder relationships including operators, regulators, and the public and navigating dynamic, start‑up, and evolving environments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for establishing full project foundation : developing program charters, roadmaps, Gantt charts, business plans, and risk assessment frameworks
• Drive the creation of policies, governance structures, documentation, and operational processes
• Provide strategic direction and hands‑on execution to ensure program meets all legislative, regulatory, and operational expectations.
• Preparing for examinations, developing governance mechanisms, drafting executive briefing materials, and shaping board‑level presentations on the project framework.
