Technical Writer
MoD is currently searching for a Technical Writer for a one year hybrid contract with one of our leading clients in Toronto.
In this role you will create on-boarding and manuals for company products and training sessions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure that manuals describe safe practices
- Prepare operation manuals, maintenance manuals and user guides for products by researching technical documents, interviewing of technical resources
- Prepare presentations and delivers technical training courses to customers
- Detail changes using company Quality Management System procedures
- Design, develop and deliver courses for classroom, instructor-led, virtual and e-learning formats
- Perform Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
- Document operating procedures, troubleshooting strategies, preventive and corrective maintenance procedures for distributed systems
Key Qualifications :
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in preparing technical documentation and delivering technical training
- Degree or diploma in electrical engineering
- Technical training experience with complex systems and solutions
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuitry
- Strong professional writing skills
- Strong verbal communication
