Who you are :

The Regional Retail Manager - Canada has a key leadership role within the retail business. The Regional Retail Manager - Canada will be responsible for leading all aspects of the business within their Region including articulating and executing business strategies to drive results in KPIs and sales targets, recruiting and developing talent, having high operational and merchandising standards, and delivering excellence in customer service.

The Regional Retail Manager - Canada has a passion for people and builds highly motivated teams by providing direction, leadership, and ongoing training and coaching of Managers and store teams.

The Regional Retail Manager - Canada will spend ample time in stores and regularly interface with top segmentation clients.

They will maintain a strong presence within the market through networking, act as brand ambassadors, and will show agility around the continuously changing retail landscape.

The Regional Retail Manager - Canada will report into the Senior Director of Retail for North America.

What You’ll Do :

  • Lead store management to establish and maintain Brunello Cucinelli’s brand image regarding client management and development through the execution of Brunello Cucinelli’s Luxury Selling Excellence.
  • Monitor store performance through KPI analysis, creating strategic business plans on a store-by-store basis to improve people and performance.
  • Direct business objectives to store management and key commercial stakeholders, inclusive of North American CEO and Global Executives.
  • Continuously knowledgeable on the luxury world and Brunello Cucinelli’s direct competitors to maximize opportunities.
  • Define and implement succession planning throughout the region, in tandem with Human resources, utilizing individual development plans to set clear expectations, and achieve specific, measurable results.
  • Fosters a synergistic environment among stores to serve the client best (sharing clients, team selling, etc.)
  • Be the first line of communication for people-related issues.
  • Guarantee continuous engagement and high motivation of all store teams through an active presence in stores.
  • Responsible for recruiting and staffing for all open positions and benching future talent in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Ensures that all store personnel are properly trained in all aspects of their job functions, policies, and procedures, and supported in their career development process.
  • Drive the implementation of company strategies by coaching and motivating the management teams ensuring a strong adoption and understanding of company goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful opening of new stores and renovations such as Store Design, Visual Merchandising, Distribution, Finance & Administration, and IT.
  • Effective financial planning and development of strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Develop strategies and utilize programs to optimize inventories and achieve budgeted sales including buying, re-orders, re-allocation, delivery prioritization, and development of sales incentives.
  • Manage & partner with the logistics team to develop and define inventory delivery cadence.
  • Partner with Merchandising team to identify product training opportunities to develop selling ceremony and client experience.
  • Develop action plans to grow client segmentations with the overall objective of strengthening the ability of our store teams to retain and recruit clients through building brand loyalty.
  • Work closely with CRM Director and wider retail teams on initiatives ensuring that guidelines are followed, and K.P.I metrics are achieved.
  • Collaborates with Store Managers to propose suggestions to improve sell-through and increase product performance to meet sales.
  • Train all managers on the proper protocol of inventory control movements to minimize shrinkage, and to ensure the safeguarding of all company assets.
  • Store Managers in isolating, and defining general operational goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications :

  • Strong affinity for the Brunello Cucinelli brand and philosophy.
  • 8-10+ years of Luxury Retail experience, including at least 4+ years of relevant work experience in a similar key leadership role.
  • Ability to lead large teams and drive a successful business.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity, and willingness to learn fast.
  • Ability to work independently to drive results.
  • Agility to work within a structure, but able to be creative and implement out-of-the-box strategies to creatively build the business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of building, and leading teams to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Personally driven by developing leadership and sales organizations.
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of the US luxury market and clients
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM Platform
  • Understanding of RFID, Micros, OMS, Paychex, and Adyen
  • Knowledge and understanding of retail store operations, product selection and allocations, stock management and loss prevention, sales, assortment planning, and expense control
  • Ability to travel 60 70% of the time.
