Contract Asset Integrity Specialist
Our client, a major Oil and Gas company, is looking for an Asset Integrity Specialist to join their team on a 1-year contract in Rainbow Lake, AB.

The Asset Integrity (AI) Specialist is a key member of the Conventional Business Unit AI team. The A&OI Specialist is accountable for executing the field implementation of the AI Program, in support of the Integrated Partnership model in Production Operations.
The AI Specialist does this by maintaining a high level of technical ability and managing activities related to mechanical integrity, pipeline integrity, chemical applications, corrosion identification and mitigation, inspection and monitoring techniques, and failure analysis.
Responsibilities
- Internal and external inspection of Pressure Vessels, pressure piping and boilers at the Rainbow Lake Plant and field facilities,
- Planning, scheduling and supervision of NDE activities in the plant and field,
- Participating in / leading the incident investigation and failure analysis of pressure equipment failures,
- Review and follow-up of MOC activities,
- Support, participated and follow-up for internal and regulatory audits,
- Support and lead pressure equipment repairs.
Deliverables
- Completion of all required / scheduled internal, external and thorough inspections of boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping,
- Coordinate / supervise the completion of all required NDE activities performed by contractors,
- Complete thorough investigations and failure analyses of pressure equipment-related failures,
- Analyze and document all inspection activities for condition assessment, remaining life calculations and next inspection interval determination.
- Provide input into business, budgeting and T / A planning activities.

- Knowledge of pipeline codes and regulations is an asset.

Qualifications
The following qualifications are required to successfully complete this role, including, but not limited to :
- A Technologist diploma in Materials, Chemical, Petroleum, Welding, or other relevant Engineering Technology program
- Minimum 5 years experience in a corrosion integrity / pressure equipment inspection role
- Alberta ISI-iBPV / In-Service Pressure Equipment Inspector Certificate of Competency
- API-510 Certifications.
- API-570, 653 and National Board Certifications are not required but are considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and acceptable abstract
