The Role
We are seeking a motivated Journeyman Pipefitter to join our fabrication team. This is a full-time, shop-based role with a schedule of Monday to Friday. Day and night shifts available.
Future project requirements may include overtime, weekend shifts, or short-term field work.
Compensation / Benefits
- Competitive wage with excellent hourly compensation
- Overtime after 8 hours per day.
- 6% vacation pay and 4% stat holiday pay on all regular hours.

Responsibilities / Duties
Maintain equipment.Read blueprints and specifications.Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving of pipes, valves and fittingsLayout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair pressurized piping systemsHydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as requiredUse testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errorsMaintain all tools, work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashionRead and interpret client and company supplied construction fabrication drawings and specificationsRed-line update drawings to an as-built conditionEnsure FLRA is completed at the beginning of every job and work is completed safely.Complete equipment maintenance in line with OCL Group and industry standards, procedures and practices.May perform other related duties assignedMaintain shop cleanliness.Key Skills / Competencies

Registered Journeyman PipefitterPrevious experience in a shop or industrial fabrication environmentCSTS 2020 Fundamentals (contains WHMIS 2015)May be required to complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test when working on certain sitesMay need to have certain safety tickets and complete site specific orientations for certain sitesClass 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation to and from workMust be legally eligible to work in CanadaOCL Group Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
