Network Engineer

• Participate insupporting and configuring the company s network environmentincluding switches routers load balancers wireless firewalls WAN
• acceleratorsand otherhardware.
• Makerecommendations and provide daily operational maintenance ofexisting
• networkinfrastructure (mainly Cisco and PaloAlto)
• Planningand execution of changes assessing and mitigating risks andfollowing IT change control best practices for predictableresults
• Providehighest level operational support triage break / fix and incidentresolution including response to escalations proactively notifyingcustomers of network issues and assessing and communicatingbusinessimpact.
• Participateand collaborate in various information technologyprojects
• Improvemetrics collection on network devices and expand monitoring of
• networkdevices
• Useof network tools for administration maintenance automation andvisualization / reporting
• Prepareand maintain uptodate documentation for internal and externalcustomers detailing the configuration of deployedsolutions
• Demonstratesound judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problemsin advance and proposing solutions and technology guidance to solvebusiness problems and improve existingnetwork

Requirements

• Tobe a true engineer you must possess strong analytical andproblemsolvingskills.
• Bepassionate about network technology and demonstrate awareness ofindustrytrends / direction.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering orequivalent
• MinimumProfessional level certification Cisco CCNP or equivalentcertification

NetworkEngineeringskills :

• Minimumof 5 years experience provisioning and troubleshooting of LAN / WANconnectivity technologies handson experience with routers switchesfirewalls
• Provenexpertise in network and infrastructure principles and generalnetwork management bestpractices.
• Goodunderstanding of different vendor cloud platforms. AWS Azure GoogleCloudPlatform
• Provenexperience with network services and dynamic routing (BGP OSPFTCP / IP VRF QoS HSRP IPSLA IPSec SNMP RADIUS TACACS)
• Familiarwith Networking Monitoring and ManagementTools
• Abilityand desire to learn independently as well as in ateam
• Abilityto manage time well and meet multipledeadlines
• Excellentwriting and communicationskills
