What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate with project teams and cross-functional groups to effectively manage project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Utilize Microsoft project management software to develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive project plans, facilitating smooth project progression.
- Plan and lead project review meetings to ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones outlined in development procedures.
- Serve as a key interface between the company and the customer, striving to achieve project timelines and uphold high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Regularly report project progress to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct project end evaluations with team members to assess project management effectiveness, identify lessons learned, and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
- Manage task information dissemination and maintain comprehensive project records, including meeting minutes, for effective internal communication and historical reference.
- Proactively identify risks and obstacles, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize disruptions.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
- Hold an Engineering Degree or possess equivalent education and experience, preferably with a background in program management for electrical hardware design.
- Bring at least 5 years of experience in a typical product development process, with additional experience in automotive functional safety and ISO 26262 processes being advantageous.
- Familiarity with electronic control units and powertrain-based electronic control units, especially in collaboration with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers, is highly desirable.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to effectively manage internal and external customer communications and expectations.
- Possess proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in project documentation.
- Be recognized as a team player by project leaders and peers, fostering a collaborative work environment focused on achieving common goals.
- Have a solid understanding of customer expectations and requirements, prioritizing customer satisfaction in project delivery.
- Work closely with Sales to ensure alignment between project activities and customer needs, contributing to overall business success.
