Description

RoleSummary :

Ontario One Call (OOC) is seeking adynamic Senior Program Manager Consultant to manage and oversee keyoperational programs to ensure delivery manage risks and completeformal reporting activities documenting progress.

Responsibilities :

1. Strategic ProgramManagement :

a. Manage and ensure accountability for thefull life cycle delivery of operational programs andprojects.

b. Utilize expertise in project management totracking status of projects and identify / manage risks.

2. Cost Efficiency and Compliance :

a. Ensurethat all programs / projects are delivered costeffectively andefficiently in compliance with the organizationsdirectives.

b. Oversee project budget alignmentsfinancial forecasts and reporting of actuals to ensuring resourcesare used within agreed parameters.

3.Leadership :

a. Work and guide crossfunctional teams inmeeting program and project deliverables.

4.Reporting and Governance :

a. Develop and implementeffective reporting mechanisms to track progress and provideinsights to senior leadership aiding strategicdecisionmaking.

b. Promote good governance practiceswithin One Call enhancing professional standards and organizationalintegrity.

5. InterdepartmentalCollaboration :

a. Work closely with One Call staffacross various departments including IT finance and seniormanagement to ensure cohesive operations and projectsuccess.

General Skills :

1.Strategic Program Leadership : Demonstrated experience in leadingand overseeing program development from inception through projectcloseout.

Skilled in business planning project management and riskreporting. Proven ability to understand and articulate program andproject progress for executive consumption.

2. TeamManagement : Experience in directing managing and leadingmultidisciplinary project teams ensuring collaboration among matrixteam members and successful delivery of projectcomponents.

3. Performance and Risk Management : Expertise in monitoring and managing costs risk schedulesgovernance performance and program impact.

Able to provide aprogram / portfolio view of project interdependencies and externaldependencies monitoring risk levels. Ability to analyze programs toidentify potential risks and issues prioritize these for seniorexecutives and recommend effective mitigationstrategies.

4. Budget Development : Skilled in developingand tracking budgets that accommodate multiple funding channels andcrossorganization dependencies.

5. Change Management : Adept at leading strategies and actions to manage change andtransformation initiatives.

6. Effective Communication : Experience supervising the development and communication of programand project related updates through various products includingpresentations.

7. Relationship Building : Proven trackrecord of building positive relationships within teams and withexternal parties fostering a collaborative workenvironment.
