Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to inquiries from Canadian business owners regarding operations issues including human resources, financing, taxation, regulations, and labour legislation.
- Keep up to date with pertinent legislation affecting small-medium enterprises with a particular emphasis on programs, resources, and tools available to businesses.
- Interact with government agencies on behalf of SMEs.
- Participate in innovative projects (i.e. webinars, YouTube recordings, ,etc.) with interdepartmental colleagues to further assist SMEs and develop new and pertinent tools for the community.
- Work in collaboration with the legislative, savings and sales teams.
- Perform other duties related to Business Resources internally and externally.

Excellent interpersonal skills to project a positive and professional image of CFIB to internal and external contacts.A high degree of integrity, confidentiality and tact, and work with a high degree of accuracy.Fluent in English and French, both written and verbal are required.Work well interdependently in a collaborative environment with cross-functional colleagues.Proven customer service, problem-solving, writing, and multitasking skills.A strong understanding of Human Resources issues and legislation.Knowledge of government legislation and understanding of SME' current issues is an asset.Working knowledge of Microsoft tools.Professional, college or university degree (certificate, bachelor's degree) in a relevant field (for example : legal, human resources management, business administration,etc.).Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience.Availability to work between 8 am to 6 pm (EST)What do we offer?
