Key Responsibilities :
- Product Strategy & Development : Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from curating and sourcing sustainable fashion items to finalizing their market-ready presentation. Ensure products align with our sustainability goals and brand identity.
- Product Curation : Collaborate with design, styling, and sourcing teams to curate unique and stylish outfits from thrifted and upcycled materials. Ensure product offerings reflect current fashion trends while promoting sustainability.
- Product Photography & Content Creation : Oversee the creation of high-quality product images and compelling descriptions. Work with photographers and content creators to ensure all products are represented effectively and are visually appealing across all platforms.
- E-commerce & Merchandising : Manage product listings on the e-commerce platform, including product pricing, inventory management, and ensuring that all details are up to date and accurate. Optimize product pages for maximum visibility and sales conversion. Oversee product sales on platforms like Poshmark and other relevant marketplaces.
- Trend Analysis & Market Research : Stay updated on sustainable fashion trends and consumer preferences. Continuously evaluate product performance and customer feedback to adjust offerings, pricing strategies, and sales tactics.
- Collaboration & Cross-functional Leadership : Work closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth product launches and promotions. Develop seasonal collections and promotional campaigns in alignment with broader company goals.
- Sustainability Initiatives : Champion sustainability throughout the product development process, ensuring that all decisions, from sourcing to packaging, reflect Second Bind’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in e-commerce product management , preferably in the fashion industry. Demonstrated success in managing product lines from concept to launch.Mandatory : Extensive experience with Poshmark , Shopify , Ebay , and / or other e-commerce platforms for fashion or lifestyle products.Strong understanding of sustainable fashion trends, upcycling, and circular economy principles.Expertise in product curation, digital merchandising, and driving sales on e-commerce platforms.Proven ability to manage product listings, optimize product pages for SEO and conversion, and analyze sales data.Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.Creative eye for styling and a passion for delivering high-quality, on-brand fashion offerings.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft engaging product descriptions and marketing content.Ability to assess market trends and consumer behavior to adjust pricing, promotions, and product offerings.A commitment to sustainability and Second Bind’s mission to reduce environmental impact through creative reuse and recycling.Skills :
