HR Manager

Job Type : Full‑time
The HR Manager will support Nieco’s workforce by administering day‑to‑day human resources functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with payroll and HRIS functions to ensure accuracy of data entry, reporting, and employee records.
- Act as first point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and workplace issues, escalating as necessary.
- Assist with job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, and new hire onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, maintaining accurate employee files and documentation.
- Support open enrollment, benefits questions, leave tracking, and wellness initiatives.
- Assist with performance review cycles, training coordination, and employee engagement activities.
- Support development, communication, and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and special HR projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of California employment law and HR best practices.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong organizational and time‑management skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of HR experience in a generalist capacity, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.Compensation
$90,000 – $120,000 per year
