The Opportunity

RVS is currently seeking applications for a temporary, part-time (20 hrs / week) Caretaker II position to provide routine cleaning duties at the Chestermere High School starting immediately until June 30, 2026 . Monday to Friday (Must be available to work the day shift supporting multiple sites as assigned).

Under the supervision of the Head Building Operator (HBO), the Caretaker II provides caretaking services at their assigned RVS facilities. The Caretaker II is responsible for keeping school buildings, grounds, contents, and furnishings in good appearance and in clean, tidy, sanitary condition, as assigned by their supervisor. In addition, the Caretaker II supports and assists the HBO as directed.

Responsibilities Include

• Attention to detail related to varied and complex cleaning tasks
• Ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks within a team environment
• Demonstrated pride in workmanship
• Performs building security checks as scheduled by the Head Building Operator
• Keeps assigned sidewalks, steps, and entrances free from ice and snow
• Experience working in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety, WHMIS and other relevant legislation
