Solutions Architect

Position Description :

We are looking for a Solution Architect who will be able to work on specific Transformational and Strategic technology deliverables on behalf of the Architecture & Governance function within Institutional Securities. This role requires the ability to quickly assimilate information and go deep into topics of interest to our technology community. You will be co-authoring Architecture Decision Records, Solution Architecture Descriptions, Guidelines, and other Strategy artefacts for the division.

Required Skills :

• Excellent communication skills : the majority of the output will be technical writing.
• Deep expertise or understanding of Data Architecture and / or the associated concepts and tools : databases, data catalogs, data movement frameworks, security etc.
• 10+ years of experience architecting reporting, trading or client facing solutions, ideally within Financial Services or similar industry.
• Experience of working with an Enterprise Architecture team that defines policies, patterns and standards.
• Understanding of Architecture methodology (either from a consulting organization or from within a team that follows a structured Architecture process).
