We are growing, and searching for an HR Business Partner, Canada!

Job Summary :

The HR Business Partner position will report directly to the VP, Human Resources and work closely with Canadian employees, front-line managers as well as corporate US leadership to provide strategic HR support and guidance.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the HR team to implement and drive HR programs and initiatives, ensuring consistency and alignment with company policies and practices.
  • Assist with the management of employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
  • Assist in talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding of employees in Canada.
  • Maintain payroll, compensation, and benefits programs.
  • Ensure legal compliance across multiple provinces.

Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Proven working experience as HR Manager, HRBP, or similar role.
  • Ability to resolve employee relations issues.
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian Labor Law, and risk avoidance.
  • Ability to handle change and ambiguity well.
  • Strong desire to create a positive work environment.
  • Strategically support cultural change.
  • Ability to support and guide organizational changes.
  • Ability to promote and integrate inclusive practices within the organization.
  • Ability to manage stress and adapt quickly to change.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong ethical sense and ability to handle confidential matters with tact and discretion.
  • Willingness to take on whatever is needed to get the job done.

Education and Experience :

  • Five plus years relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations, or related field.
  • Full proficiency in English and French, including engaging with candidates, employees, and the community in writing, is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
