Tooling Program Manager
HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in Vaughan who needs to hire a Tooling Program Manager.
This role is 100% on site.
Minimum requirements :
- Diploma / University degree in a relevant technical field, PMP an asset.
- Strong working experience in mould making and advanced understanding of tool design.
- 10 years managing programs in the tooling industry.
- Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems.
- Results-oriented and able to work under pressure.
Responsibilities include :
- Gathering pertinent RFQ information for all new projects.
- Following up on quotes for customers.
- Forecasting, and assist in capacity planning process.
- Manage new tool builds to ensure the best value tooling and highest part quality with the lowest cost of ownership.
- Use CAD software to define scope of engineering changes / repairs on both new and existing tooling projects.
