• There is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join the Construction team in Vancouver as a Carpenter.

• Pre-Fab gang forms, install forms and ensure quality control of formwork.
• Install forms to footings, retaining walls, interior walls, columns, slabs and stairs.
• Stripping and removal of concrete formwork after concrete pours.
• Erect and build scaffolding for access and concrete formwork decks.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Accurately take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
• Help manage and prevent occupational hazards and ensure site meets all safety standards.
• Communicate with Carpenter Foreman regarding any concerns, discrepancies, or alterations
• that may arise during construction to a building or areas affected by a building on site
• Other duties as assigned.
• What You Bring.
• 3+ years of carpentry experience required
• Must have experience with framing, formwork and finishing
• Must have experience working on a high-rise construction site
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to work with hand and power carpentry tools and other construction equipment
• Ability to assess situations and identify potential hazards
• Comfortable working at heights
