About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to support large‑scale digital transformation, service innovation, and analytics initiatives. This role will work within cross‑functional Agile teams to design, build, and maintain modern data platforms that enable high‑quality analytics, reporting, and decision‑making.
The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering expertise with analytical capabilities, and thrives in collaborative, fast‑paced environments focused on delivering scalable, secure, and user‑centered data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines on‑premises and in the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Develop and optimize dimensional data models (star and snowflake schemas) for analytics and reporting
- Integrate data from SQL, NoSQL, APIs, and file‑based sources while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Build and maintain ETL / ELT workflows using SSIS and Azure Data Factory, including scheduling, logging, and error handling
- Improve pipeline performance, scalability, and reliability by removing bottlenecks and optimizing workflows
- Manage data lakes and data warehouses with appropriate governance, security controls, and encryption
- Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring using CI / CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into curated data marts and analytics‑ready datasets
Data Analytics
Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies using statistical methods, DAX, Python, and / or RDevelop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to track key performance indicatorsBuild descriptive or predictive models to support service optimization and decision‑makingTranslate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiencesDeliver analytics solutions iteratively within an Agile environmentSupport data‑driven decision‑making through high‑quality analysis, visualizations, and reportingRequired Qualifications (Must Have)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldExperience
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar role3+ years of experience designing dimensional data models (star / snowflake schemas)3+ years of experience ensuring data quality, security, and governance3+ years of experience with Microsoft tabular models and DAX3+ years of experience developing dashboards and reports (Power BI)5+ years of experience extracting, transforming, and integrating data from diverse on‑premises and cloud sources3+ years of experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and API‑based data integration2+ years of experience performing data migrations across on‑premises, cloud, and cross‑database environments2+ years of experience using Git, CI / CD pipelines, containerization (Docker / Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)Nice to Have
