CNC Grinding Machine Operator – Precitech Machine

The CNC Grinding Machine Operator has the responsibility of machine parts using a numerically controlled machine.

ROLE AND Main Responsibilities (These are not limited to the following)

• Set up and operate CNC grinding machines for the manufacture of diamond tools.
• Perform machine programming.
• Monitor operations to determine if adjustments are needed and shut down machines when problems arise.
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure surfaces and dimensions meet specifications.
• Understand the specifications of the task to be performed and the desired result by reading plans, mechanical drawings, etc.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so that the machines can perform the correct function.
• Prepare and load the parts on the machines.
• Replace the grinding wheels of the machines as needed.
• Check and maintain the machines daily to ensure their operation.
• Operate 3 to 4 machines.
• Manage time to ensure machines are always in operation. Adjust breaks accordingly.
