LifeLabs provides laboratory and diagnostic testing services to patients that help physicians and other healthcare professionals diagnose, treat, monitor and prevent disease.
Each year LifeLabs perform over 112 million laboratory tests to help diagnose, treat, monitor and prevent diseases for millions of Canadians.
To do this, LifeLabs employs more than 5,700 professionally trained employees, through an extensive network, that delivers care at home, and in the community, to over 19 million patients and thousands of physician customers in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario.
There are 382 collections centers and 16 laboratories to service these patients and physicians, with corporate head office and the largest testing facilities located in the Toronto area.

The opportunity Vice President, Ontario Government Relationships.
The Vice President, Ontario Government Relationships advances LifeLabs vision and strategies by establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with the Government at all levels in Ontario in order to enhance and build the profile of LifeLabs.
The Vice President will lead the development of a business development strategy and plan for Ontario Government Markets that will deliver revenue growth from Ontario Government partners over the short and longer term.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Government Markets this role is primarily an individual contributor position, but will require extensive collaboration and leadership across the LifeLabs organization.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum 10-15 years of senior leadership experience and the following experience and personal characteristics :
- Executive level experience building relationships within the Ontario Government.
- Minimum of 10+ years in Government Affairs or Relations or related fields
- Exceptionally knowledgeable and networked with the municipal government in Ontario
- A deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem in Ontario
- Strategic thinking, Business Acumen and Business Development with governments
- Ability to live and work in the Greater Toronto area.
