JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Greystar the worldwide leader in multi-family housing has an immediate opening for Property System Analyst.

This highly-visible position is based in Canada and reports to the Director of Business Systems. This critical position supports the Canada Systems Relationship Director as the business/systems liaison between executives, operations, and accounting in the maintenance of our Property Management, Payment, Leasing and Accounting systems. The Analyst will collect and document detailed root cause assessments of reported system issues, create and monitor support tickets for user reported issue, complete testing of issue resolutions, assist Relationship Director with project tasks related to implementation of system modules, enhancements and support of property migrations, and assist Relationship Director with management reporting of system operations and issues.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The qualified applicant has proven experience in the following areas:

• Property Management System experience utilizing and troubleshooting Yardi Suite including Voyager, Rent Café, CRM Flex, and Procure 2 Pay.
• Proven knowledge of Canada multifamily apartment industry and leasing.
• Experience conducting needs assessments for reported application system issues and developing solutions including communications with senior business leaders, team members, and others.
• Experience coordinating and assisting with system conversions and enhancement installations by gathering system requirements and design, development, testing, and system roll-out, including preparing senior management reporting on results.
• Strong documentation skills required (writing user-interface design/business requirements) including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience ensuring compliance with systems development methodology standards, policies and procedures.
• Ability to manage tasks for multiple projects simultaneously and maintain positive relationships with business and systems teams to insure successful project completion.
• Three years of experience as Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Systems Trainer or Support Analyst using Yardi.
• High School Degree required with Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred but not required.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated Yardi systems (Voyager and modules) experience
• Knowledge or Yardi reports and Yardi custom reporting (YSR experience is a plus)
• Expert Microsoft Excel abilities
• Real estate industry experience preferred
• Proven strong ability to perform root cause analysis and problem solve complex issues
• Self-starter and strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization including discerning the appropriate level of detail based on roles and personalities

The salary range for this position is $100,000-120,000 CAD.
