About the Role

Design Works Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead (P.Eng.) to play a key role in the continued growth of our Edmonton office. This is a leadership opportunity for a senior professional who excels in delivering highquality electrical designs while providing technical direction, mentorship, and oversight to a growing team.

The Electrical Engineering Lead will act as a technical authority and project leader, overseeing complex building and subdivision projects from concept through construction. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to deliver practical, coordinated, and costeffective electrical systems that meet both code requirements and realworld construction needs.

We are seeking candidates with 510+ years of consulting experience, strong building design expertise, and the confidence to lead projects, guide junior staff, and contribute to team development and operational excellence.

What Youll Do

Technical Leadership & Project Delivery

• Serve as the technical lead for building and subdivision electrical projects, ensuring quality, consistency, and code compliance.
• Oversee and review electrical designs, calculations, and documentation prepared by junior staff.
• Provide technical guidance and problemsolving support throughout the project lifecycle.
