Job Type : Part-Time Seasonal (Until May 15, 2025)
Hourly Rate : $24.19 / hour

General Responsibilities
Perform routine, preventative and emergency maintenance tasks within spa site and buildings, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVACBe proactive in identifying potential safety problems and / or required repairsDemonstratestrong knowledge and best practices when using hand and power toolsSite Operations
Maintain grounds and common areas to ensure they are operational, safe and clean for our guestsEnsure safety of the facilities : ice, wet floors, use of hazardous materials, first aid kits, MSDS sheets, broken or damaged elements of the facilityPerform daily pool test and perform functions to ensure water quality is within Scandinave Spa’s required parametersMaintain housekeeping standards (interior & exterior) for site and including areas near workshopMaintain operational function of pool systemsComplete deep clean of all spas and pools twice annuallyBuilding and Equipment Maintenance
Perform routine building upkeep including plastering, painting and carpentry tasksMaintain function of pool systems including ensuring all motors, pumps, filters and chemical automation control systems are running and in good working orderKeep tools and other auxiliary equipment in an orderly and clean conditionExamine machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning, repair damaged or broken equipmentDiagnose and resolve plumbing issues with faucets / sinks, showers and toiletsAll other tasks requested of you for the smooth and efficient function of the Spa Scandinave Whistler.
Prerequisites :
Knowledge of maintenance functions, including snow removal, painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC and electricalAbility to lift up to 25kg without assistanceMotivated, enthusiastic, positive team playerProactive, creative problem-solving skillsClear criminal record checkPart time commitment (20-24 hours per week)Must be able to obtain a valid BC Driver’s License#J-18808-Ljbffr
