Lead Housekeeper
Our client is looking for a Lead Housekeeper to join their team in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills.
The successful candidate will be doing hands on housekeeping for 80% of the role.
Your success will be defined by your ability to :
- Communicate with front desk on housekeeping updates
- Clean all kitchen, rooms, storage rooms, etc. as needed
- Conduct inspections of vacant rooms
- Ensure laundry upkeep
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained and provide list to manager
- Ensure all cleaning practices meet health and safety standards
Your strengths include :
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping is an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of cleaning practices and understanding of health and safety standards in a hospitality setting
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and equipment
