Job Summary
The Clerk III performs timekeeper, clerical, and administrative tasks in support of the Cardiovascular & Stroke Program. The primary responsibility is the daily task of inputting staff attendance, leave, overtime and other related records for the program. This involves entering attendance data for each employee in the program; calculating available leave; analyzing daily assignment sheets; entering shift differentials, overtime, premium pay and leave benefits, as well as engaging with employees regarding their shifts. This position is also responsible for balancing the smoothing for each employee at the end of each schedule and providing support throughout the Cardiovascular & Stroke Program, and Payroll Department. Additional duties will include answering phone calls, maintaining charts, and other related clerical duties for the Cardiovascular & Stroke Program. This position will report directly to the Program Director.

Job Qualifications
Successful completion of a one-year Office Administration program from an approved / recognized college is required.
Successful completion of an approved / recognized medical terminology course is required.
A satisfactory record of work performance is required.
