  • Works with faculty and the CLRC team to design, plan, prepare, implement, and schedule simulation activities involving both equipment-based and SP‑based modalities
  • Coordinates the simulation centre schedule, including OSCEs, simulations, and classroom use, ensuring compliance with scheduling policies and avoiding conflicts
  • Oversees staff in preparing spaces, supporting SP activities, maintaining equipment, and coordinating required upgrades
  • Recommends equipment, supplies, and SP Program resources, anticipating changes in technology, practice standards, and program needs
  • Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices to meet regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards across all simulation modalities
  • People and Organizational Development :

  • Champion simulated and interprofessional activities to our health science partners
  • Provides oversight and support for training initiatives for simulation users, including faculty development on simulation, SP utilization, and debriefing methodologies
  • Assumes faculty educator role for simulations as content expert and conducts debriefing within the scope of knowledge or to assist content expert as required
  • Supports faculty in developing and implementing simulated educational activities, including scenario design and SP recruitment
  • Provides feedback to support continuous improvement in the SP and Healthcare Professional training processes
  • Promotes ongoing professional development for staff to stay current with simulation and interprofessional education trends
  • Networks with provincial, national, and international colleagues to share and adopt best practices
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Education : A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. Certifications and / or post graduate degrees in leadership and / or administration would be an asset.
