Industrial Sewing Machine Operator – Minimum 1 year experience

Are you an experienced sewing machine operator looking to join a hands-on, high-quality production team? This is your chance to work with a well-established manufacturer of custom fabric awnings for residential and commercial use. We’re hiring a skilled Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to support production during the busy summer season-with strong potential for a long-term role for the right fit.

What You’ll Do:
Use a heavy-duty, foot-pedal operated industrial sewing machine to stitch together large fabric panels for custom awnings and canopies
Follow detailed work orders and verbal instructions to ensure every product is made to spec
Perform quality checks on your work to meet the company’s high production standards
Keep your workspace tidy and assist with other light production tasks when needed

What You Bring:
At least 1 year of experience operating an industrial sewing machine
Confidence handling large fabric pieces and precision sewing for custom projects
Ability to read and follow work instructions independently
A strong eye for detail and commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship
Comfortable sitting or standing for long periods

Schedule:
First day: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Regular schedule:
Mon-Thurs: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay:
$21.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay- paid weekly via direct deposit
