For a challenging yet rewarding position as a Bookkeeper, apply to the opening Robert Half is looking to fill. If you have experience with A / P, A / R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then this may be the right Bookkeeper role for you. The short-term contract / temporary Bookkeeper will work in the Aurora, Ontario area.

Your responsibilities

  • Support quality archived records by filing documents
  • Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  • Maintain and balance general ledger
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
  • Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
  • Reconcile accounts by rectifying entries
  • Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits

Job Requirements :

  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Sage Accounting Software experience highly desired
  • Strong familiarity with month end closings
  • Foundational knowledge in account reconciliation
  • Proven knowledge of Enter Invoices
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
  • 5+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper
  • Previous experience using accounting software
  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
