Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Dental Assistant at North Shore Orthodontics in North Vancouver, BC. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting orthodontic specialists in providing dental care, oral care, sterilization, and dental assisting services.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Take photographs and scans
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Manage dental supply inventory
- Run sterilization of all instrument
- Manage sterilization center
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- On-site training will be provided
- High-school diploma required
- No work experience needed
Job Types
- Full-time, Permanent
- $28.85-$29.50 per hour
