We are looking for a Senior Proposal Specialist to help grow our business and contribute to our future.

The Senior Proposal Specialist will manage and coordinate the end-to-end bid development process, initiating the preparation of tailored responses and proposals to support the growth of ISC's business internationally.

They are responsible for crafting compelling and persuasive proposals that effectively communicate the organization's achievement and contributions in the industry, expertise, and value proposition to potential clients.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in technical writing, and possess an ability to gain a deep understanding of the organization's products and services, translating complex information into simple, polished, engaging content.

Other highlights include :

• Lead collaboration efforts with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, to gather relevant information and input to incorporate into the bid preparation process, building alignment between the proposal.
• Create and complete procurement-driven submissions, elevating responses to demonstrate the company's products, services, capabilities and contributions in the industry, highlighting excellence and innovation.
• Interpret and determine response requirements for proposals by identifying and clarifying objectives set forth by potential clients.
• Consolidate details and data to produce polished, high quality professional and compelling proposal responses by following best practice proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency and tone.
• Contribute to the proposal creation and execution project plans and oversee the assigned proposal team to ensure responses are complete, accurate and submitted on time, including managing and coordinating the proposal review and approval process.
• Ensure responses are aligned to the ISC brand and review proposal against Request for Proposal requirements to ensure completeness.

What you'll need :

• Post-secondary education in a field such as Business, Communications, Journalism or English combined with 5+ years of experience writing formal proposal responses and / or Technical Writing.
• Excellent writing, organizational, communication and planning skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines efficiently, including multiple competing priorities.
• Demonstrated critical thinking ability.
• Ability to facilitate collaboration, encourage creative problem solving and navigate conflict.
• Strong relationship building skills including the ability to persuade and motivate others.
• Experience with proposal development or design software (such as Adobe InDesign) and advanced PowerPoint skills would be a definite asset.
• Competency to learn the business.
