We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Halifax, NS.

Duties and Responsibilities include :

Analyze current technology utilized within the company and identify steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
Design and implement CI / CD Automation tools for testing, monitoring, and reporting
Experience with Artifactory, AzureDevOps, Git
Experience with virtualization and container orchestration
Experience with configuration management and common automation tools
Experience with Microsoft Azure (or another cloud platform)
Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives

Qualifications :

Bachelor or Master degree of Computer Science or Software Engineering
An understanding of shell scripting, and or scripting languages such as python
An understanding of continuous integration and can speak to its benefits
The ability to pick up a new technology and switch between tech stacks
Prior experience in software development
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to details
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of Agile software development principles would be an asset
