DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Halifax, NS.

Duties and Responsibilities include :

• Analyze current technology utilized within the company and identify steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
• Design and implement CI / CD Automation tools for testing, monitoring, and reporting
• Experience with Artifactory, AzureDevOps, Git
• Experience with virtualization and container orchestration
• Experience with configuration management and common automation tools
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (or another cloud platform)
• Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives

Qualifications :

• Bachelor or Master degree of Computer Science or Software Engineering
• An understanding of shell scripting, and or scripting languages such as python
• An understanding of continuous integration and can speak to its benefits
• The ability to pick up a new technology and switch between tech stacks
• Prior experience in software development
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to details
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of Agile software development principles would be an asset
