We have an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills and experience working with youth between ages 12-17 years who face a variety of significant emotional and behavioral challenges due to concerns of trauma, adverse childhood experiences, mental health, addictions and / or developmental disabilities.
To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, trauma-informed practice in a campus based setting, ability to apply theoretical knowledge of child and youth care practices, observation skills, supervision, and communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to complex and ever-changing environments.
Working collaboratively as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary youth care team, where no two days are the same, you will be responsible for :
- Participating in all aspects of individual campus based care planning.
- Monitoring and recording behaviors and outcome progress.
- Overseeing and arranging daily youth care plan activities; and
- Supporting youth to be successful / working towards well-being.
