Duties Join our team!As a Labour Relations Advisor at the DND, you will : Find win-win solutions to labour relations situations and drive forward a resolutions-based approach with clients.

Analyze complex situations and recommend the best approach to resolve issues for the clients, focused on the best interests of the department.

Bring creative, innovative solutions to difficult situations, with empathy and a strong sense of values.Develop strong trust relationships with clients and positively impact their business.

Collaborate closely with bargaining agent partners to find solutions to complex scenarios.Provide valuable input into process improvement and client service delivery.

Manage a high volume of cases using templates, case files, and guidance documents.Support collaboration across various Human Resources disciplines while managing labour relations files.

The Labour Relations Operations team at the DND is a dynamic and driven team focused on collaboration and recognition.Intent of the process This inventory will be used to fill current and future vacancies in labour relations with varying employment tenures, language requirements, security requirements, and work locations.

Positions to be filled : Number to be determinedInformation you must provide In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications) EDUCATION : Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

EXPERIENCE : Experience in conducting research and analysis in a human resources discipline.Experience in providing options and recommendations to clients in a human resources discipline.
