As Director, Enterprise Architecture & Applications, you play a critical leadership role in shaping how technology enables business capabilities, drives value realization, and supports scalable growth across the enterprise.

The Role

As Director, Enterprise Architecture & Applications, you provide enterprise-wide architectural leadership and strategic direction across application architecture, solution design, and enterprise architecture practices. You own the enterprise architecture and applications strategy, guide long-term roadmaps, and ensure alignment between business priorities, digital investments, and technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead application rationalization efforts to reduce complexity, risk, and cost across decentralized environments.
• Establish and evolve global architecture and application standards while balancing regional and functional needs.
• Own the Enterprise Architecture and Applications strategy and roadmap aligned to Cooke’s digital strategy.
• Define enterprise reference architectures, standards, and solution patterns across business domains.
• Provide executive leadership for application and solution architecture, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Chair or significantly influence architecture governance forums, including the Architecture Review Board (ARB).
• Align technology investments with enterprise goals, value realization, and risk stewardship.
• Drive enterprise capability maturity and measurable business outcomes.
• Mentor senior architects and develop leadership succession within the architecture practice.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related discipline (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in IT or enterprise leadership roles with multi-team or cross-functional oversight.
• Demonstrated leadership in enterprise or solution architecture and digital transformation.
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate).
• Strong experience operating in executive governance and portfolio environments.
