Expected Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design and implementation of Snowflake data architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes on Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data solutions.
  • Design and implement ETL / ELT processes using Snowflake and other tools.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain data security and access controls.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of Snowflake environments.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with Snowflake features, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Develop and manage documentation of data architecture, data models, and ETL processes.
  • Participate in proof-of-concepts, pilots, and RFPs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational data policies and industry regulations.

Requirements :

  • 12-18 years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on cloud-based technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience with Snowflake.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL, data governance, and data modeling.
  • Understanding of SAP HANA objects.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
