Student Systems Designer

Position Overview

The Systems Engineering Student position is a great hybrid opportunity (3 days from our Saskatoon office) to work with an experienced technical team on the design and testing of satellite communications and network management systems built with leading edge technology.

You will work with a team that includes Systems Engineers and software developers. Students are usually initially tasked with testing, often using scripts to automate repetitive tests. Students may also be involved in other phases of projects including requirements capture, requirements analysis, system design, verification testing, and customer interaction.

Duration 12-16 months.

Specific to “Satellite Planning and Management Solutions”

• Specifying, designing and testing satellite resource planning and management software systems that are used to dynamically manage and optimize advanced satellite onboard communication payloads powering world‑leading satellite communication wndows that touch every aspect of life, from air travel to military theatres.
