Our Ideal Candidate

Allnorth's Regina Team is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise across a wide variety of complex multi-discipline industrial engineering studies and detail design projects.

Working with the team to deliver innovative technical solutions within allocated schedules and budgets, you will be actively involved in project delivery including, quality assurance, support for proposal development and client engagement.

You may also be actively involved in the technical analysis aspects of projects (depending on your background). Working collaboratively with other Allnorth groups you will have the opportunity to guide the team to successfully deliver on Minerals & Metals Industry related projects for clients throughout the region.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and written, and a proven ability to collaborate with team members and clients in a multi-disciplined environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with project development and execution in an industrial environment
  • Experience in the Minerals & Metals, Energy, and / or related process industries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in the province of Saskatchewan. Registration or being able to register as a Professional Engineer (P.

E.) in the USA is desired

  • Minimum 10-15 years of consulting experience including conceptual design, front end loading (FEL) studies and detailed engineering design for industrial process plants is preferred, ideally within the Minerals & Metals or Energy sectors
  • Experience with engineering design processes and software for hydraulic analysis, pipe stress analysis, pressure vessel analysis and FEA is preferred
  • Engineering and design experience within a multi-disciplined 3D model workflow / environment
  • Experience with preparing both equipment and technical specifications
  • Experience with process industry codes & standards, including API and ASME codes

A competitive salary between $80,000.00 to $110,000.00.
