Business Development Specialist (Construction)

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our client's team. They offer unmatched levels of quality and service to provide clients with the window shading solutions they are looking for.

As an Business Development Specialist , you will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential customers, and closing sales deals.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and has a passion for sales.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target markets
• Generate leads through various methods such as cold calling, networking, and referrals
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
• Present product information and demonstrate the value proposition to potential customers
• Negotiate sales contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
• Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent customer service
• Utilize technology tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities and manage customer relationships
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position our products in the market

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in outside sales or a related field
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term relationships
• Technical sales experience is preferred

Qualifications :

• A bachelor's degree in a technical field
• 3-10 years of business development experience in the construction industry
• A valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Proven experience as a sales representative in the industry preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and rapport
• Great persuasive and negotiation skills
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills
• Proficient in technology and dealing with equipment and software
