Tru Earth is looking for a fulfillment team lead to join our Ontario team!

We are looking for someone who will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient packing of all customer orders for Tru Earth.

They will oversee a team of Fulfillment Crew Member(s), providing guidance and direction to ensure that orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.

This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a high level of performance in a fast-paced environment.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with Creating team schedules and delegating tasks to ensure proper workflow.
  • Continuously monitor employee performance while identifying areas of improvement.
  • Assess employee performance and provide feedback to P&C and senior guidance team.
  • Ensure team members meet deadlines for key projects and tasks.
  • Address any concerns or issues identified by team members.
  • Screen and assess new candidates.
  • Provide training and oversee the orientation of new employees noting company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the Quality Assurance functions required within fulfillment including corrective action implementation.
  • Teamwork with the Customer Experience Team on Fulfillment returns and replacements for Tru Earth.
  • Order packaging supplies as needed.
  • Instill positivity and motivation within a team.
  • Assist with Cycle Counts and Inventory for Tru Earth.
  • Reporting Safety Hazards within the work environment.
  • Have good comprehension, participate, assist and follow all safety programs and policies within the manufacturing location.
  • Conduct frequent visual inspection of finish goods and record quality checks.
  • Additional duties as required to assist in warehouse operations.

Education and Experience

  • Highschool Education
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Guidance Experience (can run a team of 4 to complete all orders and follow the company’s KPI’s)
  • Inventory Management experience
  • Shipping / Receiving experience
  • Technical troubleshooting experience

  • Exceptional relational skills; ability to articulate clear direction and influence others.

  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office and business communications platforms such as Slack.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to problem solve and develop effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ethical and professional conduct, including maintaining confidentiality.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset combined with the eagerness to learn and personal drive.
