Position Description

We are seeking an ambitious, organzied, and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer our Electrical and Controls Engineering Team. This position reports to an Engineering Supervisor or Manager within Modine’s North America data center cooling products divison. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in electrical engineering and HVAC controls with strong problem solving and project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain high-quality electrical designs based on customer requirements, often within a short timeline.
• Provide direct, intensive, hands-on support to the production team whenever needed.
• Participate in design meetings and communicate with the project management team, design team members, production team memebers, application engineers, and customers.
• Work with compliance team to ensure the design and manufacturing is in compliance with all applicable customer, Modine, and industry requirements (UL, CSA, IEEE, NFPA, NEC, OH&S, etc.)
• Constantly scrutinize designs for improvements to manufacturability and overall cost while maintaining excellent quality and reliability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in the data center cooling market.
