Here's how you will contribute to the success of the company
This is a hands-on Product Manager role focused on driving adoption and business impact. You will own the roadmap execution and make sure what we ship solved real customer problems and supports our growth strategy. You will work closely with Engineering, Support, Sales, and Leadership, but your superpower is understanding the market, shaping GTM plans, and ensuring features translate into measurable business outcomes.
Here's what your day-to-day will look like in this role
- Own roadmap execution and prioritization based on customer value and business impact.
- Translate market and customer insights into clear requirements for the Product Owner and Engineering.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to craft positioning, pricing considerations, and launch plans for new features.
- Analyze adoption and retention metrics to inform future priorities and GTM strategies.
- Join customer calls and industry conversations to validate needs and identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate release readiness across Support and Sales; ensure teams can sell, support, and communicate new capabilities.
- Drive usability and quality improvements that enhance customer outcomes and reduce churn.
- What success looks like in 6 to 12 months : Payroll integrations launched with clear GTM plans and measurable adoption.API expansion positioned as a growth lever for partners and integrations.Usability improvements that reduce onboarding friction and improve retention.A repeatable process for turning customer feedback and usage data into roadmap decisions.Demonstrated impact on key business metrics (activation, expansion, retention).
- How you will work with others : Engineering & Product Owner : Provide clear priorities and business context; review delivery progress; validate outcomes.Sales & Marketing : Shape messaging, launch plans, and enablement; gather market feedback.Support : Share release updates; use support insights to improve product quality. Leadership : Report on roadmap progress and business impact; propose trade‑offs aligned with growth goals.
- What this role is NOT : Not a strategy‑only role : you’ll be deeply involved in execution and GTM.Not a project manager role : success is measured by adoption and business outcomes, not just timelines.Not a developer role : you will collaborate with technical teams but focus on market fit and delivery impact.
Here's what you need to have and master to get the job
5-8 years in Product Management for SaaS, ideally with SMB or mid‑market customers.Strong business acumen : comfortable with pricing, packaging, and positioning decisions.Experience partnering with Sales and Marketing on GTM strategy and enablement.Skilled at using data and customer insights to prioritize and measure impact.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Fluent English. French is an asset.Nice to have : HRIS or Workforce management experience.Exposure to payroll integrations or API-driven ecosystems.Familiarity with tools like ProdPad and Microsoft Clarity.Experience improving adoption and retention through UX and GTM initiatives.Benefits of working at Sherweb
