Job descriptionRole Responsibilities : Problem solving to resolve customer issues and ensure a positive customer experience. Takes a proactive approach to learning and development by actively participating in large group, district, specialized training programs to sharpen consultative selling skills and product knowledge.Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications / Skills / Job RequirementsExperience in sales or an equivalent in the food service industry preferred but not required.Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience. Customer service experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and possess solid organizational skills.Superior communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills. Problem solving, organizational, and negotiation abilities. Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and eCommerce concepts.
