Shipping Processor / Boxer

JOB SUMMARY

Primary duties of this position are to assist in the packaging and processing of shipments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verifying every picking ticket matches the order number on the box.
• Maintain an organized shipping environment
• Keep shipments on schedule
• Good communication skills and quick responses to other departments.
• Very efficient in UPS, FedEx, Purolator, & Loomis software
• Understanding of commercial invoices
• Understanding of Freight Orders
• Package industrial electronics and related components for shipment

May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

WORK SCHEDULE

This is an hourly position. The schedule for this position is 9 : 00AM – 6 : 00PM, Monday through Friday with one hour for lunch. Employee is expected to come to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies. Employee is required to be available for additional time as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The environment is a shipping area. Dress attire is casual but professional in a shipping setting. All employees are required to wear “Radwear” (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received. Closed-toe shoes must be worn.
