I am seeking a dedicated part-time nanny/housekeeper to join our family for the summer season. Our four children, aged nearly 7, almost 9, 11 and 13 years, will be on their holiday break and we need an extra set of hands around the house to help us ensure their safety, comfort, and adherence to daily routines while we're attending to our work.

The children, as they grow, are quite independent, but it's important that there is a responsible adult around to supervise and assist them while they partake in their daily activities. The nanny/housekeeper will play a key role in their life during these six weeks.

The work schedule runs on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, with a weekly compensation of $380. We are located in Walden (SE Calgary). This position does not require a driver's license as it's a live-out role.

As a nanny, your main responsibilities will include supervising the children throughout the day, preparing and serving meals, attending to their needs, supervising any playdates or outings, encouraging quiet time, reading, creative play, and some housekeeping tasks. For the housekeeping part, your role will involve maintaining cleanliness in common areas like living room, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning surfaces, washing dishes, and kids' laundry would also be part of your duties. We believe in involving our kids in age‑appropriate cleaning chores, so we're looking for someone who can encourage this and assist them when necessary.
