Wood is currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Edmonton, AB to expand our team within the Oil & Gas Canada business.

The successful candidate will be engaged in projects across several areas including oil and gas (upstream, midstream, downstream), energy transition and petrochemical industries.

We are seeking experienced engineers with the drive and commitment to make a genuine difference to our performance across the full life cycle of projects, including study phase, DBM, FEED and Detailed Design.

Wood continues to differentiate itself from its competitors by delivering quality projects to meet our client’s requirements and expectations.

Applicants with strong technical and communication skills, and technical safety experience in the above industries, should apply.

Please note this role will work our standard office hybrid work schedule.

  • Currently registered or eligible for registration with APEGA.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience with the majority spent working in refining, petrochemicals or oil & gas industries.
  • Must be proficient in HYSYS and / or ProMax.
  • Must have client facing skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication (English) skills.
  • Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals.
  • Must be able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
  • Must be able to coordinate with team members in other workshare offices.
  • PHA experience is required.
