Summary JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BAS & Network Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in desktop and server environments, network infrastructure, and building automation systems (BAS). You will play a key role in supporting field technicians, maintaining network hardware, and ensuring seamless connectivity across various platforms. Key Duties & Responsibilities BAS & Network Support Provide desktop support for Windows environments (Windows 7 through 11). Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers, primarily Ubuntu LTS. Diagnose and resolve IP network issues, including ISP routers, switches, and security appliances. Maintain and configure routers and firewalls, including Cisco Meraki and Cradlepoint devices. Support various internet connection types : Cellular, DSL, Cable, Fiber, and Fixed Wireless. Troubleshoot BAS networks, including Niagara 4 and similar controllers. Utilize Niagara 4 Supervisor and Workbench for system management (experience preferred). Conduct technical product research and provide recommendations. Support and maintain BAS protocols such as BACnet / IP and MTSP (knowledge preferred). Work with cloud and virtualization platforms such as Azure, AWS, and virtual desktops / servers. Use remote access tools (RDP, SSH, web portals) to manage systems. Perform data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools. Provide third-level technical support to field technicians and liaise with vendor support Experience Requirements Proven experience with Windows desktop and Linux server environments. Strong understanding of IP networking and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, Cradlepoint, and other network appliances. Familiarity with BAS systems, especially Niagara 4. Knowledge of BACnet / IP and MTSP is an asset. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and virtualization tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills for working with technicians and support desks. This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $61,850 - $77,313 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
